Her Last Concert

December 8, 2012 was her last performance to sold out crowd to over 14,000 fans in what within few hours later became her last concert in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She died December 9, 2012 in a plan crashed.

In July 2, 2013 "Unbreakable/ Inquebrantable" (her official autobiography) Jenni has been working on it for years, and before she died her family put it together and turn it into a book, which became New York best seller.

Jenni Rivera also became the first female Banda artist to sell out a concert at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal city California, and she also became the first to sell out two back to back nights at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles in august 6 and 7 2010. Another sold out she had was in both the Staples Center in LA and Mexico National Auditorium. A few singers in her gender achieve this.

Jenni Rivera was also a producer on the Mun2 reality Tv show Chiquis & Raq-c, who her oldest daughter Janney Marin (Chiquis) came out. Then she appeared un I Love Jenni. Jenni Rivera also worked in the second season as a coach in La Voz Mexico. 







"Las Malandrinas" was the first song she wrote. Her first album, "La Chacalosa" was released in 1995. Her second album released was "We are Rivera" and Firewell to Selena. Selena was a singer who was murder in1995. She released more albums during the years. She began to have more success with the album "Parandera, Rebelde, Atrevida", released in 2005. Which was number 10 on the Billboard Top Latin album chart. She was nominated at the 2000, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 Latin Grammys. Jenni sold over 20 million albums and continues to sell.  She was also awarded a star on the Las Vegas walk of stars. 



The beginning

Jenni Rivera was born on July 2, 1969 in Long Beach, California. She had her first child at the age of fifteen. When she was 18 Jenni had two children and was a single mother. She was struggling and didn't have money or food to feed her family. One day Jenni made the decision to go to collage and get a degree while her mother took care of her kids. Jenni became a business woman.
Don Pedro Rivera, Jenni's father, was also part of the business world. Don Pedro Rivera introduced her daughter to the traditional Mexican music. He always wanted for his daughter to become an artist, but she would always say reject the idea because she didn't like the life that famous people would lived. In 1992 she did her first recording. That was her gift to her father. Jenni Rivera was married three times and had five children.
